My name is Trinity and I currently attend the University of Hawaii, Manoa on the island of O’ahu.

I previously attended Valley Christian High School in the San Francisco Bay Area. During my time there, I played on the Varsity Water Polo team and also minored in the visual arts program within the Conservatory of the Arts because I have always had a passion for photography. In relation to that, the sole purpose of this blog is to share that passion for photography and even for just life itself though my images and thoughts.

Negative things may occur quite often here on Earth, in variety of ways, but this world is a fascinating place and its beauty shines around everywhere —within humans, architecture, landscapes, etc. I want everyone to be able to see that beauty and realize that life is so much more than what any of us are/will ever be able to comprehend. Sure, that statement might seem a little obvious because life clearly leaves so many questions for us all to ponder and ultimately, we will probably never find the answers to many of them…and I am sure that this realization is apparent to most, but I truly mean it in the least simplest of ways possible. I don’t mean it in terms of all the unanswered philosophical questions that we engage with or anything such as that of religion; I mean it in the sense of the life surrounding us…reality and the way that the world flows/works and for everything that it is as a whole. For example, the landscapes here on on Earth, and even other planets, are painted like masterpieces with extremely fine attention to detail —and they are laid out all around us to experience and study. I believe that life is just so intricate that it is easy to miss the little details within everything around us, because not only do we get used to what we see consistently and stop being so amazed with it all (most often resulting in taking it for granted), we do not look close enough at things that we normally wouldn’t or things that appear to be uninteresting at first glance, which is why I think it is so important to learn from others around us. Most of us think we are giving life or people the appreciation that it/they deserve when in reality we barely scratch the surface; it is so often and easily that things are taken for granted, especially in today’s world that is consumed with technology.

With that being said, I think it is time for us all to dig deeper, including myself. We all need to experience more, converse more, appreciate more, love more, and broaden our horizons. Through my work, I hope that you are able to step into my shoes for a minute and view life through my eyes and hopefully gain a new appreciation for things/details that I may pay more attention to than you do, and maybe even be encouraged to go out and attempt to look at unfamiliar sites or talk to new people and experience more in general. I believe that human interaction, to learn from each other and share with each other, to be the most important thing that we could engage in throughout this short amount of time that each of us have on Earth.

Anyways, I hope that you enjoy my blog and the pictures that I choose to include on it, and I hope that each one makes you feel something inside. I will learn form you, you will learn from me, and together we will grow.

I hope there are days where you fall in love with being alive.

I notice you, I want to say. Even when no one else does, I do. I will.

I hope that the next time you’re happy, you won’t get so low when it’s gone. I hope you find something that heals your soul. I hope you trust the universe that it has a plan for your next smile. Because it does. You’ll see.
